Ive been a big Eds fan for years but always went to the one on Roncie despite Mimico being quite close by. Same great ice cream with creative flavours.

This is indeed my go to for the best homemade ice cream. Delicious every single time! Standard flavors that are a sure win for any crowd, including burnt marshmallow (that will take you back to your childhood campfire), cookies n cream (with the biggest chunks of cookies you can handle), and my personal fave Callebaut Milk Chocolate (melt in your mouth chocolate).
The secret you should really know about though, is their Frozen Yogourt. Oh my, this is what I'm talking about! Silky smooth, just tart enough, fruity and flavorful Frozen Yogourt - that will have you back for more before you know it! I get mine by the pint.

Visited Sunday afternoon with my better half. I had a bowl of French Mint and she had a bowl of Strawberry. Could be the best ice cream in the city. Giving Kawartha a run for their money. Will absolutely be back.

Mango gelato

Very cozy location. They have different and yummy flavour of ice cream, sorbet, and gelato. I especially like the pistacchio gelato. You can get it on a waffle cone, bowl, or normal cone. They respect the social distancing guideline so if you have to wait, you have to wait. But it is worth the wait.

I love the old school feel at Eds Real Scoop. They have seasonal ice cream flavours that make it fun to come back for visits. Earlier this year, had a Guinness flavour around St. Pattys day. Staff are friendly!

Quiet little place that you could easily miss while walking along Lakeshore west... Good collection of ice creams / gelato and sorbets... I loved the Bacio gelato and the banana chocolate icecream.

Im and huge fan of Ed's Real Scoop. Soo glad they opened a store down here now I don't have to travel anymore just to get ice cream. The ice cream is awesome!!!! They make their own ice cream, waffle cones, chocolate fudge etc. Everything is made on site. Definitely have to try their ice cream!!! I just picked up some chocolate fudge that was amazing! Since it's summertime they don't have much time to make fudge but they said as summer ends they'll have time to make more which include flavours like maple, peanut butter, chocolate(soo yummy). I asked them to make me fudge and they took my order and called me when it was ready. If you buy a lot you get a bulk discount. You have to try the chocolate fudge --- AMAZING!

Great Ice cream store! I have been to multiple Eds real scoop location but this one is great as well! Worker was friendly and store was clean. I got regular size ice cream of strawberry and coconut. Strawberry was basic but coconut was good! I got a tub as well with 3flavours (green tea, mango and pistachio). Green tea was alright it didnt have a strong matcha flavour but it wasnt bad. pistachio and mango was amazing! I will definitely visit again!

A nice little store on Lakeshore with homemade ice creams, gelato, shakes & sorbet. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I ordered a scoop of espresso and red hot chilli chocolate gelato and the flavours complemented each other wonderfully. The red hot chilli chocolate especially had a hot aftertaste which you can feel in the back of your throat. For less than 5$ a scoop not much it doesn't get any better.

Eds is a great neighbourhood gem for ice cream. Plenty of flavour choices and different styles like sorbets and gelato too. All of the flavours are high quality and delicious and haven't tried one I didn't like. They also have pint deals I believe if you visit regularly.

My friends and I always come to this place for ice cream. They have amazing delicious flavors, my fav ones are the burnt marshmallows and blueberry pie.

This place was nice but I like the one on Kingston better. Wish they put real strawberry peices in he strawberry to make it taste more real.

This place is great the ice cream is great and delicious. The service was great and they were very eco friendly as a Business as they used compostable cups and spoons. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city. When I walked in to Ed's Real Scoop there was a delightful Breeze which got even better when I smelled the fresh ice cream they had displayed to perfection in the glass window. When I thought my day could not get better I was greeted with delightful manners and allowed to samples flavours of ice cream before I choose my flavour which was strawberry yogurt. Today was the first time I went here and it was delicious. The best ice cream I think I have ever had, friendly atmosphere and a great variety. Also love that they have high quality sorbet for the little vegan in our life. This was his first ever trip to an ice cream store..... and this set the bar high. We will be back regularly

Close to my NEW HOOD Ed's Real Scoop has been the popular joint for awesome cool treats whether Gelato or ice cream, they've got it all.

I decided to have their toasted almond, because it somewhat resembled my favorite gelato, Torrone/ turron.

They've got plenty of flavors on hand and some stowed away in small takeaway tubs.
Overall customer service is good and friendly.

If the line-up for ice-cream is out the door, the ice-cream is worth it. Their homemade ice cream is amazing here. They switch up the flavour's from month to month, and keep the signature ones around. I think it's great that small businesses like this are starting to pop up in New Toronto.It's a small location and there isn't very much seating inside. But you're there for the ice-cream and not the seating. They do offer a big wooden bench just outside of their location. It's something to look for when you're trying to find their ice-cream place.

Ed's Real Scoop has a large assortment of classic and unique flavours, all handmade. The taste is pure creamy deliciousness. The maple pecan, chocolate peanut butter fudge and cookies 'n cream were all some of the best ice cream we had ever had. The people working there were very friendly and the ice cream maker was also serving the ice cream. For delectable, handmade ice cream, l highly recommend Ed's Real Scoop.

one of the best gelato places in the neighborhood. was very happy to come here after my friend has been ranting about the leslieville locations. seeing as though this location is just up the street from home, decided to give this place a try after dinner one night. this location is pretty tiny and if you blink you will surely miss it. the service is absolutely great, with the flavors of the ice cream/gelato being absolutely out of this planet. i decided to go with the lemon and cherry gelato, which came with a bit of a comment from the lady behind the counter...something to the degree of "oh i think that combo will be awesome!" and indeed it was. i was very happy to have paid what we did for the flavor and the quality of cold treats you get here, you can really tell how fresh and homemade the real scoops are. the service is great, the location is clean and the staff are super friendly.
parking options are on the street and this location is serviced by the 501 queen streetcar/bus with a tiny bit of walking.

I had the lemon sorbet and it was some of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had salted caramel and the waffle cone which was delicious! The owner gave me a taste of the burnt marshmellow... it blew my mind and I can't wait to go back and get it!!!

It's a busy small ice cream shop. With the signature Ed's variety of flavors.. Except for Orange Chocolate! It would have been a 5 if they had orange chocolate, but the ed' signature chcolate marshmallow flavor is delicious. Only two staff but served separately each order for each guest. Very clean and smaller then the Roncesvalles Location but looked bigger then the beach location. I wish this existed when I used to live across the street when I was small. Delicious Ice cream!
